What should the operator pay attention to during the work of the breaker?

Sep 24,2024

Check whether the high-pressure and low-pressure hoses of the breaker vibrate too violently. If there is such a situation, it may be a malfunction, you should immediately contact your local service office approved by us to obtain repair services.

a) The operation should be stopped when the hose vibrates violently

Check whether the high-pressure and low-pressure hoses of the breaker vibrate too violently. If there is such a situation, it may be a malfunction, you should immediately contact your local service office approved by us to obtain repair services. The hose joint should be further checked for oil seepage. If there is oil seepage, the joint should be re-tightened.As shown in the figure, during the operation, it should be visually checked whether there is a margin in the chisel. If there is no margin, it must be stuck in the lower body. The lower body should be removed to check whether the parts should be repaired or replaced. Faulty parts.

b) Stop the operation (avoid excessive air strikes)

Once the stone is broken, the hammering should be stopped immediately. If the air strike continues, the bolts will loose or break, and even excavators and loaders will be adversely affected. When the breakdown force of the breaker is improper or the chisel is used as a crowbar, the phenomenon of air strike will occur.(The sound of the hammer will change when the hammer is hit in the air)

c) The broken hammer cannot be used to move stones

As shown in the figure and, do not use the end of the chisel or the side of the bracket to roll or push the stone.Because at this time the oil pressure comes from the excavator, loader boom, and boom.Bucket, swing or sliding operation, so the large and small arms will be damaged, and the broken hammer bolts may be broken, the bracket will be damaged, and the chisel will be broken or scratched. Avoid using a broken hammer to move stones. In particular, it is pointed out that the chisel is inserted in the stone, and you must not walk when digging.

d) Do not use the chisel as a crowbar

As shown in the figure, if the chisel is used as a crowbar when crushing gravel, the bolts and chisels may break.

e) Do not continue to fight south for more than one minute

When hitting a hard rock, the same hit should not last for more than one minute, and then change to another hit.

Prolonged percussion operation will cause the oil temperature to rise, which will cause damage to the chisel bushing and wear on the chisel.

f) For long, hard large stones, they can start to break at the crack or at the tail end, so that it is relatively easy to break the stones.

g) The breaker should operate at normal engine speed

For the crushing hammer to be broken, the engine speed should meet the specified value. Exceeding the engine speed required for the operation will not increase the strike force, but it will increase the oil temperature and cause equipment damage.

h) The breaker cannot operate in water or mud

Do not use broken hammers in water and mud, otherwise, the piston or similar parts may rust and cause permanent damage. If you need to operate in water or underwater, you should order an underwater breaker in particular.

i) Do not let the broken hammer fall directly to break the stone

If the broken hammer falls directly on the gravel, the broken hammer or excavator will withstand excessive force, which can easily damage the excavator and loader parts.

j) When the stroke of the cylinder rod on the excavator's boom is the largest, please do not perform percussion operations.

When the excavator and loader oil cylinder rod have the largest stroke (the cylinder rod is completely extended or indented), gravel will damage the cylinder and the various components of the excavator and loader.

k) Do not use a broken hammer to hang objects

Do not tie ropes to the broken hammer, bracket and chisel to hang objects. This can easily damage the broken hammer, bracket and chisel, and this operation is also very dangerous.

l) In particular, it is pointed out that in winter, the engine should be started for 5 to 20 minutes to preheat before the breaker can be operated.

The engine should be preheated according to the operation and maintenance instructions of the excavator and loader, and the crushing operation should be carried out at low temperature, so that the various parts of the breaker, such as pistons and seals, can be easily damaged.
